Course Bookings, Cancellations, and Refunds Policy

Course Scheduling and Changes

1.1 First Aid Swindon reserves the right to cancel or reschedule a course without penalty or liability where booking numbers are deemed insufficient or where circumstances arise beyond our reasonable control. Where this occurs, we will notify participants as soon as reasonably practicable and work with you to arrange an alternative date that is mutually convenient.

1.2 Payment in full constitutes acceptance of our booking terms and conditions and confirms official registration on the selected course.

1.3 Requests to reschedule a confirmed booking are treated as cancellations, and the cancellation and refund terms set out below will apply. This reflects commitments made to instructors and venues and the associated costs incurred.

Cancellation and Refund Policy

2.1 The buyer may cancel a booked course at any time. Refunds will be issued in accordance with the following schedule:

• More than 10 full days before the course date:
  Full refund minus a £10 administration fee

• Between 10 and 4 days before the course date:
  50% refund

• Within 3 full days of the course date:
  No refund

Refunds are calculated from the original course start date.

2.2 Participant substitutions may be made at any time without charge, provided the substitute meets the course entry requirements.

Participant Eligibility and Qualifications

3.1 For qualification-based courses, participants must demonstrate sufficient understanding of the course content and competence in the required techniques or equipment to achieve certification.

While First Aid Swindon is committed to delivering high-quality training and fair assessment, attendance alone does not guarantee certification. All qualifications are awarded subject to the participant meeting the required assessment standards.
