Responsibilities
Every employee shares responsibility for upholding this policy. Individuals may be held personally liable for acts of bullying, harassment, victimisation, or unlawful discrimination carried out during the course of their employment, whether against colleagues, clients, suppliers, or the public.
Senior management fully supports and enforces this policy.
Complaints and Misconduct
Complaints relating to discrimination, harassment, bullying, or victimisation are taken extremely seriously and will be investigated promptly and sensitively.
Such behaviour may be treated as misconduct under our grievance and disciplinary procedures. Serious breaches may constitute gross misconduct and could result in dismissal without notice.
It should be noted that:

Sexual harassment may constitute both an employment matter and a criminal offence

Harassment under the Protection from Harassment Act 1997 may also be a criminal offence, even where it does not relate to a protected characteristic
